ADG Electrical Services
We built this electrician website for ADG Electrical Services, a family-owned electrical contractor based in Bertram, Texas. The company is licensed and insured, and its know-how has passed down through three generations of electricians. It serves homeowners and businesses across the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas. For businesses that means offices, retail spaces and industrial warehouses, from new construction wiring to tenant build-outs and emergency lighting. For homeowners it covers repairs, panel upgrades, EV chargers, surge protection and backup generators.
- CMS: WordPress
- Theme: Hello Elementor child theme
- Builder: Elementor Pro
- Integrations: JetEngine, Yoast SEO
- Live site: adgelectricalservices.com
The design came first for ADG, which had no website yet. An EV charger for a house and an office build-out for a business are both ADG jobs, and both buyers land on the same homepage. Each one wants their own services within a click or two, so a single long service list would not work. On a phone, that list gets long quickly.
What we did:
We split a Texas electrical contractor’s new WordPress site into residential and commercial hubs, one click apart, for the homes and businesses it serves. The work started with the service list. Before we built a single layout, we grouped every service by the kind of customer who buys it.
Two service hubs on one electrician website
Residential work and commercial work each have a hub page, with an intro and a service list of their own. Each service page then sits below the hub for its trade. The page addresses show it: EV charger installation lives under residential services, and tenant build-outs live under commercial services. Each hub opens on the same red title band, an intro with a photo, and matching free estimate buttons. Moving from the home side to the business side still feels like one company. On a phone, each visitor scrolls a short list that only holds their own services.
Built on a small set of templates
Then we built the homepage and 7 templates. We created 15 pages from those templates instead of laying each one out by hand. Pages made from the same template share one layout. Adding a service later means picking one of the existing templates, so nobody has to design a new layout for it. The footer menu is split the same way, with one column for commercial work and one for residential. So from any page, a visitor can cross to the other trade. The live site also has town pages, a project portfolio and a blog.
Tested and handed over
We tested each page on desktop, tablet and phone screens before launch, then handed the site over. Home and business services now sit apart on the finished electrician website, yet the other side is always one click away. We white labeled this build for our partner BigDCreative.
