Always Ice
Always Ice runs an all-inclusive rental program for commercial ice machines, and we built its ice machine rental website. The team handles the installation, maintenance and repair of each customer’s machine. It works with any type of business, from restaurants, coffee shops and hotels to landscaping and healthcare. The company works to catch issues before they become problems, so a customer’s business keeps running smoothly. Lease customers also get the Worry-Free Ice Guarantee. If a machine goes down, Always Ice delivers ice to the door or reimburses any ice the customer buys. The site features one machine in depth: a water-cooled Koolaire full cube ice maker. Its full cube ice melts slowly, which suits bagged ice and drinks. Its bin stores 532 pounds of ice behind an insulated door.

For more than a year before the launch, the company’s domain showed only a coming soon page. Always Ice had a design for the site and a long list of facts about one Koolaire ice maker. The client wanted all of it on a single page: the rental pitch, the guarantee, every spec and a lead form. A buyer had to get through it in one scroll.
Much of that detail was figures. Capacity, clearance and power numbers are hard to follow inside a sentence. Set out as ordinary paragraphs, they become a wall of text. The page needed a layout that would let a buyer find each figure quickly.
What we did:
A full spec sheet sits between the rental pitch and the enquiry form on the one-page site of a company that rents out commercial ice machines. We worked from the supplied design on the lightweight Hello Elementor theme and gave each kind of content a shape that suits it.
Laying out the ice machine rental website
The sections follow the order in which a buyer makes a decision. The hero opens on the rental pitch, and the Worry-Free Ice Guarantee comes next. Then the page turns to the machine itself. That part covers how much ice it makes, how it is cleaned and how its bin keeps ice from melting. Both the hero and the guarantee end on two buttons. One takes a buyer who is ready straight to the enquiry form. The other jumps to how the machine works, for a buyer who wants the detail first.
Turning the spec sheet into rows
The spec sheet was the densest part of the brief. We broke it into short rows and set them in two tables, 22 rows in all. One table holds the ice maker details. The other explains how the machine works, step by step. A sidebar next to the tables carries the ice bin details and the dimensions and utilities. So a buyer can check the bin’s storage, the machine’s size and its power needs without hunting through the page. Every row is a separate item in an Elementor icon list. When a figure changes, the client edits that one line in the editor. There is no code to touch and no paragraph to rewrite.
An enquiry form at the end of the scroll
The page ends on a Gravity Forms enquiry form with six fields. It asks for a first name, last name, email and phone number. A dropdown asks for the visitor’s area of interest, and a message box comes last. The header menu links to each spec section of the ice machine rental website. A Contact Us button sits beside it. On phones, an Elementor Pro popup menu carries the same section links and button. The header, footer and popup are separate Elementor templates, so each one can be edited on its own.
We tested the build on desktop, tablet and phone screens before it went live. We white labeled this build for our partner BigDCreative. For a related job, see the industrial equipment product site we designed for Swifter Fans.
